Time Machine

If my time machine would work, the first thing I would do is go back in time and live a life in the past. Then I would go to the future, and I would live a life in the future. Then I would go back in time and try to prevent bad things from happening. For example: “The Twin Towers,” and WW1/WW2. I would also try to prevent bad things from happening in the future. I would also go back in time and I would try to win the lottery so I could become a wealthy man. I would find a girl so that I can enjoy my life.

Learning

My brother was outside trying to get engine started. I was just sitting down doing nothing when I decided to check out what he was doing. As I was walking with my mind full of thoughts I began to hear the engine louder and louder, every step I took, I would hear “rooooom rooooom!!!!” and then a big choke at the end. When I got there I saw a lot of smoke coming out of the car. Then I asked him “What are you doing?” And he responded, “I’m just trying to get this thing started.” And he continued to pull start the engine, and as he was doing that he was explaining to me what he was going to do next, so finally he realized that what he was doing wasn’t really working, so he began to take apart the carburetor and he was showing me how to clean it and unclog it. He grabbed a bottle of WD40 and sprayed it on the carburetor. As he was spraying it, a bunch of oil and rock started to come out. He told me that the rocks wouldn’t allow the gas line to suck up gas and that was the reason why the engine wouldn’t stay on, so after a while, we finished cleaning it and we put it back together, then we pulled started the engine one more time and on the first pull the engine turned on and stayed on. That day I learned how to clean a carburetor. So later on when I own my own engine and I have the same problem, I can fix it my self.

Fairy Tale

When she woke up she found her self buried under ground. She began to look around her and saw a Pepsi bottle. She was so thirsty that she chugged the whole thing down. After drinking that she still felt a thirst in her, so she began to look for more things around the coffin and she found a note that said “Rub the Pepsi bottle,” so she did. She rubbed and rubbed and finally the Pepsi genie came out and said “I will grant u one wish so you must use it wisely” the princess did not hesitate she just said give me another Pepsi just like this one so the genie granted her wish and disappeared. A couple of hours later she was back in her castle. Do you know how the princess escaped?

What really stroked me was the fact that the decided out of no were to start growing their own fruits and vegetables, and how they were successful in doing it. It was also cool how the lady learned to adapt and use these herbs to make Delicious food.

This relates to My Ishmael because the main theme of Ishmael is living more sustainable. and this whole video shows and talk about living a sustainable life and how it is possible to live sustainability.

I think this family made a great choice on living sustainably. its not only healthy for them but it is also healthy for the your community and by seeing this video you learn that you can also use home grown herbs to make delicious foods

Anthropomorphism:

Ishmael Mainly refers on claiming territory on page (82) . he talks about how animals are becoming similar to humans. they fight for their territory and don't stop no matter what. they either protect it or die doing it. He talks about the relation we have with animals and how now they are doing similar things we do.

This I Belive Response

Christian McBride sends a strong message about life now in days. how people are so stressed now and are so aggressive. He gives examples like people always using computers at star bucks and to people wanting to kill you for almost hitting their car on the freeway. he also explains that he has his melt downs but they are not worth it sometimes. i think that he talks about a very strong topic and he is absolutely right press HERE to read his "I Believe"

Herb Recipes

• 1 onion
• 1 small butternut squash
• 1 red potato
• 1 white potato
• 1 cup cilantro
• 1 1/2 packages of boneless, skinless chicken thighs (9 pieces)
• 1 can cream of chicken soup
• 4 cans worth of water
• 16 oz. chicken broth
• 2 cups wide egg noodles
• 1 Tbs. butter
• 1/2 tsp. kosher salt

Ecological Intelligence

1.) Ecological intelligence is knowing how bad your carbon foot print is but, making a difference and helping our enviorment the the world be a better place.

2.) This relates with our essential questions because they both have to do with living in a better and more sustainable life.

3.) My ecological intelligence is average i guess you can say its normal. although i know whats good and bad for our enviorment i still use things that affect us all. most chemicals we use to clean are toxic or affect us in some way. i think i can help our world by reducing the use of water or by using cleaning chemicals that are non toxic Ecological Intelligence

These are the plants we are growing for our project. The one on the left is cayenne peppers, and the one on the right is coriander herb (cilantro). After we have fully grown these plants, we are going to use them as ingredients in a recipe we will use.

Presedential Election

For this blog post I didn't really know what to write about so I am going to give my personal opinion on the debate. I think that the debate is just a big fight that 50% of the world doesn't really know what is going on. I think that most people don't know what the debate is about so they just follow along to what family or friends say. some people just pretend to know about the debate but in reality they have know clue on what is going on, but I think that I'm not one of this people any more.
At the beginning of the debate I didn't really know what was going on. All I did was follow along. but I started to take interest on what was going on and I decided to research on the debate. what I learned about the debate was that Obama wants to bring the troops from the war and in different words he is also trying to make us surrender. but what really strikes me is that Obama has allot of terrorist friends, and we never know he could be planning another terrorist attack and maybe that's why he is trying to bring back the troops from the war. his main goal is to focus more on the economy than what is happening in the war, he thinks that our economy is more important than the war and I agree.
Now McCain is trying to send more troops to fight and he is making us stay in battle. but how do we know that he is just not trying to waste are money by sending more troops. we waste over 3 billion dollars in sending weapons, armor and other things to the troops that are in battle, and that money is spend monthly. I think that no matter who wins the debate we are still screwed. we are going to end up loosing something one way or another. so I don't really care who wins this debate but hopefully in four years when I can vote someone with better plans with our world is going to be running for president. So we can make our world stronger and better.

I like this person because he is random and he does a lot of crazy sculptures. He is a person who sculptures bodies after they are dead. He uses silicone and different types of glue. this image tells me a lot because you can tell that the person is out of regular he is random and crazy in a way But he does a really good job sculpturing bodies like this. He kind of looks scary be the smile he got on his face.

he is heroic because he saved my life and he is always helping me out with my problems. he also always makes sure that i do my best in life.

PPC Part 3

1.) My predictions were accurate. everything I predicted was correct. I dint know that the cover would tell you so much about the book.

2.) all of my predictions were accurate, but the one that really surprised me was that i predicted that the book was going to be a novel, and guess what it was a novel.

3.) i had predicted that their was going to be a little girl on a jar with jelly, But in reality it was a jar of honey with a picture of the black Mary on it not a little girl, the black Mary.

This weekend was awesome. The only thing i did was work on my go cart. It might not mean much to you or it might sound boring but because i made it it sounds fun to me. Since Friday the only thing that i did was work on my go cart. i called it go cart weekend. I'm almost done with my go cart i should finish it next week. So I'm looking forward on writing it when all my work is completed.

The reason I choose this picture was because it has a lot of characteristics, and what makes an epic is different types of characteristics and use of strong words, and heroic accomplishments.

My Favorite Public Hero

Harriet Tubman was born in the year 1820. Harriet Tubman was a African American, Union spy during the U.S Civil War. After escaping from captivity, She went back and rescued seventy other slaves. The way she accomplished this was by creating a network called the under ground rail road. Witch was just secret Hide out that they would create or find. They also created there own way of communication by hanging sheets with certain stains or colors and at a certain time. The reason i consider her a hero is because she cared about her raise and she believed in freedom for all. She also had to go through a lot of stuff as a child, And just thinking about the fact that she was beat as a little girl and now she's freeing people from slavery is amazing. Not every body liked Harriet Tubman many people wanted to kill her because she was freeing slaves from the people who owned them. But her raise loved her because she was worrying about others and she was helping them out.
